Newspaper editor Robert Barboza has spent years reading about and studying Dartmouth's very interesting past. His regular history articles in the Dartmouth Chronicle proved as one of the most popular features in the publication.

Comments from many of his readers suggested he assemble all of his history columns and print a book about previously untold stories of Old Dartmouth's heroes of the American Revolution.

Robert joined Kasey and myself on the radio to describe the brave soldiers, sailors, and Colonial Navy marines who helped the colonies win their independence from Great Britain after a long and bloody struggle.

He scoured town records, colonial archives, U.S. naval histories and Royal Navy archives to find the characters and ships on both sides of the war that helped change the course of history! Enjoy the chat.
