Off-Duty Dartmouth Officer Aids Heart Attack Victim
The following is a press release from the Dartmouth Police Department.
On Friday, Jan. 12, at approximately 7 p.m. while off-duty at Gumbo's Restaurant on State Road in Dartmouth, Officer Lisa DaCosta observed a 57-year-old Dartmouth man suffer an apparent heart attack.
In response, Officer DaCosta immediately began to perform CPR on the man until EMS and other first responders arrived.
The man was subsequently transported to the hospital, and his current condition is unknown.
