President Obama's acceptance speech Thursday night is being called the biggest political moment ever recorded on Twitter. There were more than 52-thousand tweets per minute right after the end of his address at the Democratic National Convention. The acceptance speech from Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney sparked around 14-thousand tweets a minute at its peak.

One of the hottest Twitter moments in the Obama speech came after he declared he would "never turn Medicare into a voucher." Total tweets on the final day of the Democratic convention came in at four million. That's almost equal to the total tweets during the entire Republican convention.
