The U.S. is sending three-thousand military troops to Liberia to help combat the Ebola outbreak.

U.S. officials say President Obama will announce the move Tuesday during a visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.

The President's plan will also call for the building of 17 treatment centers and the training of thousands of healthcare workers.

Officials say the U.S. will set up a joint forces command center in the capital city of Monrovia to help coordinate efforts with other government agencies and international organizations.  (Metro Networks Inc)
