President Obama says the majority of unaccompanied migrant children crossing the southwest border will not be able to stay in the U.S.  Obama said that people illegally crossing the border are being apprehended in large numbers and the government is working to make sure they are being housed and processed appropriately.

The President's comments came after a roundtable discussion today in Dallas with Texas Governor Rick Perry and other state and local leaders about the influx of unaccompanied minors across the border. He again made a push for Congress to pass meaningful immigration legislation.

Obama deflected criticism for not visiting the border by saying he more interested in solving the problem than photo ops. (Metro Networks Inc.)
