NSTAR Gives Cooling Tips and How To Save Energy

NSTAR spokeman Mike Durand talked with WBSM"s Jack Peterson about ways to stay cool and save energy during the current heat wave. He says keeping the shades or blinds down will block the sun and keep a room cooler. He also suggests when installing an air conditioner, it is usually ideal to put it in a north facing window and cooking outdoors will help to keep your home cooler.
