A decision in the Tom Brady "deflategate" case will have to wait.

Judge Richard M. Berman announced that there will be no ruling today, but does expect to make a decision by the end of the week.

The Patriots quarterback and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell were both in court on Monday for another settlement hearing, but the talks broke down without a compromise.

Brady is fighting a four-game suspension for his alleged role in the use of underinflated footballs in the AFC Championship Game in January.

The Patriots open the regular season next Thursday at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
