The Executive Director of the Southeast Regional Transit Authority says he's doing all he can to continue night time bus service in the region.

The service is supposed to stop at the end of June, but Eric Rousseau tells WBSM News, night time service is a plus for SERTA and its riders.

Rousseau credits Transportation Committee Chair Rep. William Straus with adding additional funding in the state budget to bolster regional transit authorities around the state.

He's also working to secure federal money as well to keep the night-time service going.
