Nearly three-dozen NFL players have sustained concussions, less than  a month into the pre-season.

35 is the number of players diagnosed with or reported to have concussions according to a Twitter feed that tracks league-wide medical reports. Actually, the number is probably much higher. Players competing to make teams aren't likely to tell anyone about their symptoms, and the league doesn't require teams to make weekly concussion reports during the pre-season.

There were at least 16 concussions before any of the teams played their first pre-season games.
