Newlyweds Held Their Wedding Reception at McDonald’s

A newlywed couple in England says they got a few stares while holding their wedding reception at a McDonald’s, but they didn’t let that ruin their big day.

Steven and Emily Asher decided to toast their wedding at the golden arches because that’s where they met. So after they tied the knot, they took their limo to McDonalds and treated their 33 guests to a McFeast for about $230. The manager even gave them a complimentary bottle of champagne, but the happy couple had to wait to pop the cork since McDonald’s bans alcohol.

Both Steven and Emily called it an “amazing day.”
