New UMass Dartmouth Chancellor Ready For Start Of School Year

University officials at UMass Dartmouth, including the new chancellor, are set to welcome students returning to the North Dartmouth campus next month.

Dr. Divina Grossman was hired this spring, and has spent the last eight weeks talking with faculty and student leaders, labor organizations, and local elected officials, learing about the operations and culture of UMass Dartmouth.

UMass Dartmouth will welcome 1,600 freshmen students, plus 600 transfer students, over the course of next week.
