The Wareham School Committee has made it's choice for the Superintendent of School's job.

On a 4-1 vote Wednesday night, the committee selected Kimberly Shaver-Hood , pending successful contract negotiations. Shaver-Hood, is the current Superintendent of the Blackstone-Millville schools, and was selected over Dr. Elise Frangos, assistant superintendent in charge of curriculum for the Old Rochester Regional school district.

The committee also agreed to immediately enter into contract negotiations with Shaver-Hood and if they are successful she will start work in Wareham on Aug. 1, one day after Dr. Barry Rabinovitch retires after five years at the district's helm.
