A new poll shows if a special election were held today for John Kerry's senate seat, Scott Brown would probably win.

The WBUR poll of 500 registered voters shows Brown easily besting Democrats Martha Coakley, Ed Markey, Mike Capuano, Steven Lynch and Marty Meehan.

The poll also shows voters still have a high opinion of Brown, with a 58-percent favor-ability rating despite his recent defeat in November's general election.
