The third and final phase of Riverside Landing was given the o k by the New Bedford Planning Board Wednesday night. Hawthorne Medical will build a 10 thousand square foot walk in urgent care facility which be be a satellite of St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River. It will include a number of exam rooms, a couple of treatment rooms plus radiology. The urgent care will consist of walk in primary care at hours that are needed in the community. The final steps for the project to be built is to acquire a building permit from the city and to finalize a lease with St. Anne's. This project will complete Riverside Landing which already includes Market Basket, a Taco Bell and a 12 thousand square foot retail building currently under construction.
