New Medical Building Opens In Dartmouth

After 18 months of construction, a new three-story medical building is opening Monday  at the Hawthorne Medical Associates campus at 531 Faunce Corner Road.

The new building will house a number of departments that were located around the Southcoast.  As an example, an urgent care center is now located in the new medical building, and Hawthorne has closed the center on State Road.

The facility will also include an orthopedics department, a woman's center, a pediatrics department, and family medicine.  Hawthorne President Dr. James Tracey said in a statement, the state of the art building was designed with patients in mind, and services have been located to make it easier for patients.
