Kayla Roncin is the star player on her baseball team, and the 12-year-old hit a two-run homer to put her Toms River, New Jersey team ahead and eventually win the state championship. She also pitched the final out, putting her team in the regional tournament, one step away from the Little League World Series.

But before the game, Kayla was jeered by opposing fans. She got the best revenge possibly, but really, do we still live in a society where people are going to pick on a 12-year-old girl for playing baseball?
