My kids will be happy to hear this, in response to criticism that the new school lunch guidelines that went into effect in September weren't giving kids enough to eat, the Agriculture Department is changing the rules to allow more grains and meat.

My kids were coming home starving! They said there just wasn't enough and a lot of kids were running out of energy at sports practices. The daily and weekly limits of meats and grains will be eliminated.

The new guidelines, which are intended to fight childhood obesity, set limits on calories and salt, have more whole grains, and say at least one vegetable or fruit must be offered per meal.
