New Director at Buttonwood Park Zoo

A new director for the Buttonwood Park Zoo has been nominated by Mayor Jon Mitchell. The Mayor has chosen Keith Lovett, the most recent Operations Director of the Palm Beach Florida Zoo where he served for the past 13 years.  The Mayor says  that Lovett has been involved in every aspect of zoo operation. Lovett is a native of Salem, N.H.

His appointment must be approved by the City Council at Tuesday Night's meeting. He will be replacing Dr. William Langbauer who left the zoo in July to pursue research and conservation issues in Africa.
