New Boston Marathon Slots Opened

Next year's Boston Marathon will be bigger than ever. The Boston Athletic Association has expanded the field to accommodate those who didn't finish the course because of the bombings. Now they've issued an invitation to people "personally and profoundly impacted" by the attacks. Those who want to run are asked to submit a 250-word essay on the organization's website. The deadline to apply is November 27.
