New Bedford Vets Share Breakfast with Global Learning Students

The Global Learning Charter Public School welcomed area veterans from the Veterans Transition House to attend a special breakfast this morning. It’s the fourth year the veterans are welcomed to a Student of the Month breakfast, where they sit down with the students and share their experiences.

Lena Pires, Middle School Principal at Global Learning spoke to the vets this morning, and says it’s important for the students to learn what it means to be a veteran.
