New Bedford Summer Jobs Offered to Youth

Over 70 summer jobs are being made available to New Bedford's youth.

Mary Rapoza, Director of Parks and Recreation, tells WBSM News all eligible applicants will get a fair shot at a summer position, as there are three positions filled by lottery.

Other positions are available as well, some of them requiring prior experience and proper certification.

Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25 years old to qualify for the City's summer jobs. The deadline to submit an application is May 17.
