New Bedford Store Robbed With Stun Gun

New Bedford Police are looking for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery Wednesday night.

Detective Captain Steven Vicente says that at approximately 9:30 p.m. the suspect entered the Brock Ave. Variety store located at 629 Brock Ave. with a stun gun that he activated.

He demanded all the money in the register and, once it was opened, he grabbed the money that was in it, and fled the scene.

Vicente says the 24-year-old male clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a thin black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and mask.
