New Bedford Shots Fired

New Bedford Police responded to a shotspotter activation system to shots being fired at Trinity and Cedar Street Monday night around 8:20. Police found 5 spent shell casings in the street and witnesses told police that there appeared to be a confrontation between two groups of men who fled the area on foot.

Police say at this time there are no victims or property damage has been located.
