New Bedford's Office of Housing and Community Development is seeking input regarding the city's 5-year-plan on how federal funds should be spent for housing and community development.

Community Development Coordinator Joseph Maia says the funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development can be used to help low income residents with home repairs ranging from minor fixes to larger projects.

The city will be holding meetings on the plan Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. At the Main Branch of the New Bedford Public Library, January 13th at Carney Academy, and January 14th at the office of Housing and Community Development.

A online copy of the survey can also be found on the city's website.
