New Bedford 7-Eleven Robbery Arrest

New Bedford and Dartmouth Police arrested the person who robbed the 7-Eleven on Cove Road in New Bedford and the Bliss Corner Gas Express on Dartmouth Street in Dartmouth early Tuesday morning.During the robbery, he claimed he had a weapon but never showed it and left before the clerk handed over any money. The suspect, identified as 33 year old Robert Norte of County Street, turned himself in at New Bedford Police Headquarters Wednesday night. He faces charges of armed assault with intent to rob.
