New Bedford Police Searching for Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect

New Bedford Police are searching for a suspect in connection with an attempted robbery.

Just before noon Thursday a hold up alarm was activated at the Royal 7 Food and Deli on Summer Street.

The man, armed with a knife, did not get any money after a struggle with the clerk.

The suspect fled the scene, and is described only as a white male dressed in all black. He was wearing a black mask which was taken off during the struggle.
