New Bedford Police Respond After Unknown Woman Found in Apartment

NEW BEDFORD — A woman found a surprise in her Clark Street apartment Monday afternoon.

New Bedford Police received a report at around 3:30 p.m. Monday of a woman who was moving out of an apartment in the 100-block of Clark Street, and had entered the apartment to find an unknown person in the residence. Police say entry was apparently gained through an unlocked door.

Nothing appeared to have been taken from the residence.

Police arrested 29-year-old Courtney Lee of 70 Ruth Street, Apartment 2 in New Bedford, on charges of misdemeanor breaking and entering, trespassing and on a warrant arrest.
