New Bedford Police Raid South End Home

A New Bedford woman is under arrest after police raid her South End home.

New Bedford Police Spokesman Lt. Amos Melo says officers executed a search warrant last night at 877 Brock Avenue, seizing nearly 60 grams of cocaine over 100 oxycodone tablets, and $752 in cash. The cocaine has a street value of around $5,700.

Police arrested the resident of the apartment, 54-year-old Liseta Fonseca. Fonseca is charged with trafficking cocaine and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone.
