NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford Police are investigating after several properties were tagged with graffiti.

Police say five locations were affected in the area of Arnold and Chancery Streets Monday. Graffiti was found painted on a garage and a fence at 51 Chancery Street; a wall at 178 Arnold Street; three sides of property at 184 Arnold Street; and an electrical box owned by the city. The graffiti was initially reported just after 6 p.m. Monday.

Anyone with information on the graffiti is asked to contact New Bedford Police at 508-991-6350, or the anonymous tip line at 508-992-7463, or email at tip@newbedfordpd.com.

Three New Bedford residents were arrested earlier this week after neighbors say they keyed cars in a neighborhood near St. Luke's Hospital. At least 23 cars were damaged.
