NEW BEDFORD — Members of the New Bedford Police Narcotics Unit took fentanyl and cocaine off the street and arrested six people, following an investigation into a cocaine distribution service being operated out of 293 Tinkham Street, Apartment 3.

Police executed a search warrant at the residence late Monday. A search of the residence uncovered more than six grams of fentanyl, more than two grams of cocaine, one Suboxone strip, more than $600 in cash, digital scales and packaging materials.

Police made the following arrests in connection with the case:

Nataly Quintana, 33, of 608 Summer St., Apt. 2, New Bedford, on charges of possession of cocaine.

Jennifer Costa, 33, no known address, on warrants.

Steven D. McGruder, 49, 293 Tinkham St., Apt. 3, New Bedford, on charges of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. Police say he pushed an officer while trying to flee the scene.

Anthony A. Chytrus, 43, 1059 Main St., Worcester, on charges of possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute; conspiracy to violate drug laws; possession of prescription medication with intent to distribute; possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute; and possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, subsequent offense.

Michael Andrade, 41, of 85 Colonial Terrace, Plymouth, on charges of possession of Suboxone with intent to distribute; possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute; possession of Suboxone with intent to distribute; possession of Suboxone with intent to distribute, subsequent offense; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Arthur Joseph Pina, 40, of 293 Tinkham St., New Bedford, on charges of possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute; possession of Suboxone with intent to distribute; conspiracy to violate drug laws; possession of prescription medication with intent to distribute; and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
