Specially equipped trucks have been spraying areas in the far North End over the weekend, trying to reduce the level of EEE and West Nile Virus infected mosquitoes in the city. Mayor Mitchell's Executive Aide, Neil Mello tells WBSM News Bristol County Mosquito Control has taken aggressive action since the city's mosquito risk level was raised to "high" last week.

Spraying will commence from 8-11pm tonight north of Tarkiln Hill Road. Residents in that vicinity are advised to close their windows, turn off their air conditioners, and bring their pets inside during spray hours.
