Two New Bedford men are arrested by Wareham Police after authorities say the suspects were in the process of delivering a large batch of heroin to the town.

Police say they received information regarding the suspects' activities, and conducted an investigation that led to the men being approached by detectives while they were parked at a restaurant on Route 28 on the night of March 2. Detectives searched the 2003 BMW belonging to one of the men, and found about 110 grams of heroin.

33-year-old Hector Montilla-Segura and 27-year-old Gilberto Baret-Ramirez of New Bedford were arrested without incident. They're both charged with trafficking heroin over 100 grams and have been arraigned in Wareham District Court.
