Fairhaven Police arrest two New Bedford men after detectives witnessed a drug deal in action.

Sgt. Kevin Kobza says the deal went down in front of the CVS on Route 6 Monday afternoon, with 29-year-old Dennis Rose, Jr. allegedly selling crack-cocaine to 44-year-old Eduardo Collazo. Police arrested the individuals after they parted ways.

Collazo was found to be in possession of crack-cocaine and was charged with possession and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Rose was found holding several grams of crack-cocaine and heroin, along with a Xanax tablet and over $1,100 in cash. Rose faces numerous drug charges including possession, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and school zone violations due to the deal taking place in close proximity to Hastings Middle School.
