New Bedford Man, Woman Arrested for Drugs in Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH — Dartmouth Police have arrested a man and a woman from New Bedford on narcotics charges.

As the result of an investigation, members of the Dartmouth Police Detectives Division on Tuesday arrested 23-year-old Jamen Green and 33-year-old Desiree Lee Prior, both of New Bedford, on narcotics charges.

Detectives seized approximately 13 grams of crack cocaine with a street value estimated at $1,300, as well as $1,757 in cash.

Both Green and Prior were charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, as well as conspiracy to violate drug laws. In addition, Prior was charged with being a disqualified person in possession of defense spray.

Dartmouth detectives were assisted by members of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Department Warrant Apprehension Unit.
