RAYNHAM - The New Bedford man wanted by Raynham Police for attempted murder has turned himself in.

Eddy Fonseca, 18, turned himself in to Raynham Police Department Tuesday afternoon. Bail was set at $50,000, but the Brockton Enterprise is reporting Fonseca is being held without bail on another unrelated warrant.

Police say Fonseca was attempting rob a juvenile at knifepoint early Sunday morning in Raynham, when another adult male tried to intervene. That's when police say Fonseca stabbed the adult male in the neck, and fled in a black sedan with three other men. The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton in critical condition.

Fonseca will be arraigned in Taunton District Court on Wednesday.
