New Bedford Man Facing Gun, Drug Charges
A New Bedford man is facing drug and weapons charges after a drug raid on Sunday.
Lt. Amos Melo tells WBSM News that the Narcotics Division executed a warrant at a residence at 11 Vialls St. home around 1:05 p.m.
During a search of the home officers located a loaded .38 caliber revolver with two bullets, 3.5 grams of cocaine, and $165 in cash.
In addition, officers also found packaging consistent with narcotics sales.
The target of the the warrant, identified as 28-year-old Euclides DePina, was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to distribute a class B drug (cocaine), unlawful possession of a firearm, improper storage of a firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition.
