New Bedford Man Faces Cocaine and Ammunition Charges

NEW BEDFORD —  Members of the New Bedford Police Department narcotics unit took cocaine and ammunition off the street and made an arrest following an investigation into cocaine distribution service out an apartment at the Harborview Towers West on Acushnet Ave in New Bedford.

Police executed a search warrant at the location and located cocaine, packaging materials, ammunition, and cash.

Officers arrested Rease Diaz, 18, of Apartment 3-C in the building, on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of ammunition.

The arrest was made at 4:16 p.m. on Tuesday.
