A New Bedford man arrested earlier this month on gun and drug charges has been declared a danger to public safety by a District Court Judge.  Twenty-four year old Dana Santos will now be held without bail for up to 120-days.

According to the Standard Times; prosecutors told the court Santos has been shot twice, once two years ago and again on August 2nd, one of seven people wounded outside the Jalice Cafe in New Bedford. Santos is scheduled to appear in court again on October 20th.
