NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford man with a history of dealing heroin is arrested again on drug charges.

The New Bedford Police Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant Thursday at 70 Ruth Street, Apartment 1N, at about 12:47 p.m. as part of an investigation into a cocaine delivery service being operated at that address.

During the investigation, police discovered 20 plastic bags of heroin weighing approximately five grams, digital scales, packaging materials and about $1200 in cash.

Police arrested 58-year-old Jimmie Lee Taylor of that address on possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, and possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, subsequent offense.
