Four New Bedford juveniles were arrested over the weekend and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.

New Bedford police responded to the city's South End just after midnight on Sunday after reports of shots fired and a possible fight.

A vehicle was seen speeding away from the scene as officers arrived and it was stopped by police at Cove and South First Streets.

Four juveniles in the vehicle were arrested at the scene and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.

None of the suspects were identified due to their age.
