New Bedford High School Receives $92,000 Life Science Grant
The Mass. Lfe Science Center has awarded New Bedford High School a $92,000 grant for the purchase of life science training equipment.
The school district's Director of Federal and State Programs, Andrew O'Leary tells WBSM News, the equipment is badly needed in biology and bioscience classrooms.........
O'Leary says the grant application was written in partnership with New Bedford High School teachers.
Supt. Dr. Pia Durkin says the grant will help the district's ambitious teaching and learning agenda .
