Communities up and down the East Coast are hoping the worst of this winter is behind us.  That's because producers of road salt are having a hard time keeping up with demand.  In New Bedford, D-P-I Commissioner Ron Labelle tells WBSM News, the city has about 700 tons of road salt on hand, with another delivery scheduled for this week.......

Labelle says up to 300 tons of road salt is used just about every time it snows.  Officials in New Jersey says they may have to shutdown several highways if they can't get more road salt this week.

Monday's storm dumped another one to three inches of white stuff on the Southcoast.   A weekend storm Saturday into Sunday depositied 6-12 inches of snow on the region.  Still, WBSM's Jim Phillips found this woman who enjoys winter, and all that it brings.......

Better days are ahead, including warmer temperatures this week that should melt at least some of the snow.
