New Bedford Firearms Arrest

Members of the New Bedford Police Organized Crime Intelligence Bureau executed a search warrant at 80 Carriage Drive, Apt. B Wednesday night. Detectives found a 40 caliber, semi automatic handgun underneath a mattress as well as three loaded magazines. Police arrested the occupant of the apartment, 38 year old Joseph St. Pierre, on a number of firearms charges which he'll face in district court. Police also found two small children leaving in the apartment. they were released to another family member and DCF was notified.
