New Bedford CVS Robbed by Man With Replica Gun

New Bedford Police are searching for a suspect after what appeared to be an armed robbery Monday afternoon.

Police say a white male entered the CVS Pharmacy at Ashley Blvd. and Holly Street, displayed a firearm, and handed the clerk a note demanding money. The man fled the store on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Witnesses say the man tossed a sweatshirt and a plastic replica gun in a nearby lot.

The man has an average build and was wearing sunglasses.
