Despite the wet and windy weather, there were 3 high school football games Friday Night.

In a game heard on WBSM,New Bedford High came from behind in a back and forth game to beat Dartmouth 23-20. There were outstanding performances on both sides. New Bedford Quarterback Mike Rapoza completed 11 passes for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns but also rushed for 83 yards in 18 carries. Dartmouth's Mitch Loranger carried the ball 17 times for 201 yards. New Bedford has next week off while Dartmouth hits the road for Bridgewater Raynham..

 

The Fairhaven Blue Devils came from behind to beat Bourne 29-26. Kobie Edwards gained 110 yards on 18 carries for Fairhaven while Billy Pires added 9 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown. Fairhaven plays its last home game of the year next Friday night against Apponequet.

 

And New Bedford Voke Tech lost to Apponequet 27-7. Corey Ponte rushed for 105 yards on 24 carries for Voke..Westin Cohen had 147 yards in 15 carries for Apponequet to go with 2 touchdowns.
