NEW BEDFORD - There are no shortage of protests this week as President-Elect Donald Trump is set to take the oath of office and be sworn in as the nation's 45th President.

Martha Worley of New Bedford, a business owner, is planning on travelling to Washington, D.C., this weekend to take part in a women's march on Saturday, advocating for the fair and equal treatment of women under a Trump administration. Worley tells WBSM News she has serious reservations about Trump. "I don't like how he treats women. I think that goes without saying," said Worley. Worley says she has fought hard to achieve goals in her professional life, like many other women. "I'm in an industry mostly controlled by men, so I very much feel that and I don't want to go backwards. I want to go forwards."

Worley says she has concerns over Trump's threats to defund Planned Parenthood, which she sees as an organization that advocates for women's health and much more. Worley feels her participation in the march is taking action for the future. "I do feel compelled to go. I look at my grandchildren and hope for a better world for them, and I feel the need to have to do that." She's also advocating for equal pay for women and keeping the Affordable Care Act intact.

The march is planned for Saturday in Washington, D.C., with over 200,000 people expected to participate.
