Attorney General Maura Healey's office is holding a free workshop tonight from 6pm to 8pm, at the New Bedford Public Library, at 613 Pleasant Street, on how to avoid identity theft and scams for consumers.

According to South Coast Today.com, “the training will focus on common identity theft scams and will provide consumers with tips on what to do if their identity has been stolen.”

The Community Engagement Division was started in May 2015, and it brings the work and resources of the Attorney General’s Office into communities across the state at times that are convenient for working people and their families.
