Neil Diamond to Debut Boston Tribute July 4th

Neil Diamond know for his popular songs especially 'Sweet Caroline' that is used in many sporting arenas to pump up fans during games, has written a new song.  The news was inspired by how the city of Boston came together after the marathon bombings, Neil says it was all he needed to write the song.  The proceeds will benefit the Boston One Fund and the Wounded Warriors Project.

“Freedom Song (They’ll Never Take Us Down)” will be released via iTunes and Amazon on Tuesday. But Neil will sing it for the first time in D.C. on July 4, at a Nationals-Brewers game and at the PBS “A Capitol Fourth” concert, broadcast live from the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
