An Engineering Acadamy Program is being formed at New Bedford High School.  On Thursday, prospective members of an advisory committee attended a meeting to learn about the program, and its plans for the future.

Co-Chair Robert Gadbois, a technology educator at the high school, tells WBSM News, the Engineering Acadamy is open to all students interested in learning more about technology based areas like construction, t-v production and robotics......

Gadbois says the advisory committee will serve as the program's link to the private sector, advising educators on what industry needs from its employees of tomorrow.

The New Bedford program will undergo an accredition review later this year by the National Acadamy Foundation.
