NBEA Seeks Postponement Of Innovation School Hearings And Vote
The President of the New Bedford Educators Association has fired off a six page letter to Interim Supt. Michael Shea, requesting a delay in public hearings and the School Committee vote on innovation schools.
N-B-E-A President Lou St. John says too little is known about the operating costs of both the Esperanza and Renaissance schools.
The letter goes on to ask 55 questions about the operations and finances of both innovations schools.
St. John is asking for a response from the school administration by March 15.
